50 Cent "OK You're Right"

I'll admit, I was getting tired of 50. Probably because he was beefing too much.

But now he change direction dropping mad street shit for free. Check out the War Angel LP.

This video right here is sick. This is good example of how video can improve a song. Props to Adam Berg for excellent cinematics.

Michael Jackson- "I Wanna Be Where You Are"

I had to give it a few days before I spoke on Michael. Honestly, I am still in shock and fighting my denial.

Regardless of what critics say, they can't deny the joy Michael's music brings. As for all the the negative allegations, the man was acquitted on all charges and under the eyes of the law he is NOT GUILTY.

Michael Jackson is the most popular man on earth not because of controversy that surrounded him but because he continues to touch the hearts of so many people.

This is one of my favorite Michael records back from his Motown years. Some of you may not have it. Enjoy!

dead prez "Hip Hop" Brooklyn Bodega

Just got from the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival. Even with the rain and humidity shit was dope. Everybody showed up plus some guest appearances. Besides, the no smoking under the tent (You couldn't puff freely, though a few cats were sneaking some tokes) and the designated alcohol area, I definitely got my $10 worth. My only suggestion is to find a venue thats a bit more lax next year.

Uploading vids as we speak. Stay tuned.

Cures for cancer WTF?

Today a co worker put me on to an alleged cure for cancer sodium bicarbonate. Being the conspiracy theorist that I am, I took a look into it.

Apparently a Canadian research team has come up with DCA, an inexpensive drug that they believe kills almost all cancers.

But we can't have here in the US. Why? Well, it makes no money. Pharmaceutical companies are unwilling to invest in DCA because it can't be patented.

So I checked out the video and found this link to purchase DCA. Apparently its inexpensive and available for purchase worldwide. However, they do cannot ship into the US or its territories.

Why not? It seems like the FDA is cock blocking. Who knows what these drug companies are doing to stop the spread of potential inexpensive cures for cancer.

Whether DCA is fact or fiction it seems fishy to me why it hasn't been given more exposure by the media and government. I mean this could be the fuckin cure for cancer! We need to be looking into shit like this!

After watching this video I linked over to this next video. Not only does marijuana treat cancer it seems it may cure cancer as well. Oh yeah, I know my ganja smokas are gonna love this!

Find out how hemp oil has killed cancer in some experiments.

If any of this shit is true or not is irrelevant. It is important we keep a close eye on drug companies. After-all they are drug companies they SELL DRUGS! We need to make sure they are not lobbying to prevent the distribution of potential cures for cancer and other diseases like AIDS.

The truth is that business is business and if you have the potential to ruin someone's business they have the potential of doing anything to stop you. Pay attention and stay strong.

The Leaking Debate

The issue of leaking and downloading music is a controversial one. Some support file sharing and believe its o.k. while others absolutely oppose it.

Regardless of where you stand on the issue, the fact is that there is file sharing going on. With new technologies constantly emerging everyone can agree that the game is continuously changing. What was the norm two years ago has changed today and could become something else by tomorrow. People from both sides of the table need to work together and find some common ground.

Nahright had a dope post yesterday. Eskay and Lupe had an exchange about leaking music. This is exactly what the game needs, an open debate on how the fuck people feel about this shit.

Eskay said:

I wanna see artist prosper, I just dont think chasing iTunes sales and deading mp3 leaking is necessarily the best way to do it.

He makes a good point. What many who are against file sharing fail to recognize is all the free exposure that artists are getting by people sharing their music.

If anything, the more people who download your music free the better the chances of your music selling. After all, isn't it the best indicator of a strong demand for your product?

However, Lupe argues that this type of downloading is illegal and insulting. He goes on to say that it possibly cost his album from going platinum.

The legality of downloading is questionable as there is no clear line drawn in the sand and should be judged on a case by case basis. Whether or not downloading cost Lupe from his album going platinum is not clear. Take Lil wayne for example, he leaks more music than average and his album went platinum.

At the same time Lupe writes about his computer being hacked and people leaking those tracks onto the internet. If this is true, then its fucked up. If Lupe was not ready to share his music to the public and it intended the file to be private, then no one has the right to leak it. That sounds more like stealing than sharing.

Bailout Beats "Sound of Wind"

This the next track from Bailout Beats "Sound of Wind".

I mixed this shit a bit loud. I'm hoping it sound right but you never know until you heard it on many different types of speakers and I haven't had a chance to do that. But I am listening to it right now on my head phones and its got me open so fuck it.

I took the sample from.............. I'm not going to tell you all I am going to say is if you got the record then you understand the title.

This track is kind of is on the grimy yet intelligent street tip. I can picture a lot of cats spitting to this but I the same time I can just vibe to the instrumental.

And by the way, I don't want anyone biting my bottle rocket or computer printer samples either!

50 Cent "Redrum"

All of a sudden 50 decides to drop a free album War Angel on Tuesday June 16 at 9pm. I know, this shit came out of no where. I like the idea its and its a good marketing move. Its about time a headliner like 50 ditches their record label and start distributing his own music. On the real, no one buys CD's anymore.

Audit the Federal Reserve

I am so glad that HR 1207, Ron Paul's "Audit the Fed bill" just passed with 218 co sponsors!

This is good news. The word is spreading and many people are rightfully asking questions as to the inner workings of the Federal Reserve Bank and what the hell they are doing with our money.

I encourage everyone to support this bill. Click here to tell your Congressman to co-sponsor Ron Paul's "Audit the Fed bill." Stop talking shit about how the economy is doing bad and do something about it.

Since its inception in 1913, the Federal Reserve has helped to devalue our dollar by 95%. During the recent economic crisis, it has poured trillions of dollars into the economy with no oversight, made secret agreements with foreign banks and governments, and has refused to tell Congress who is getting the money or to give it the details of what deals are being made.
